Yesterday I ordered a white coffee and a waffle with ice cream and hot cherries. The way it was prepared was a hit. Very nice and appetizing. That's exactly how it tastes.

The drinks were really great. Instead of a tartare with porcini mushrooms, I got a tartare with a few chanterelles and a scoop of porcini mushroom ice cream, which was not on the menu. The plaice tasted like water and the breading wasn't fresh. In my opinion, the schnitzel was also frozen. Very thin, hard and fibrous meat. The alleged fried potatoes with bacon and onions came in a bowl. The onions and bacon were fried at the bottom. Sliced ​​potatoes from the fryer lay on top. I don't want to mention the unfriendly waiter. One is amazed that there are almost only 5 star ratings (;

Very cute and clean restaurant with attentive service. The food (we only ate fish) was excellent and a ray of hope in the terrible food culture that Germany has now developed. The products are all of high quality and are understood in the way they are prepared. The fish is not just an interchangeable side dish to salad and potatoes, but is integrated harmoniously into the dish. The ingredients are coordinated so that they intensify the taste of the respective product instead of covering it up. The dishes are really an inspiration and I thank you for the craftsmanship!

Every time we are in Sylt, we have been to the Salon 1900. This time probably the last time. We waited 90 minutes for our food. Reason: We first served the families !? In the meantime we have been filled with bread. That is not how it works. We too have our reasons why we reserve at 6 p.m. Normally it would give three stars as the schnitzel was average, nothing special. The two fish dishes have earned the 4th star.

For many years, we are regulars here! The freshly caught plaice with bacon or crab should have eaten here once everyone. Very good price-performance ratio!

Lamb fillet has convinced, very tender and the side dishes very tasty. Two kinds of fennel and (positive: in an extra bowl) rosemary potatoes.

A lovely tranquil setting, great food, massive portion sizes (share a schnitzel!), good service, and the restaurant interior is randomly reminiscent of an English country gastropub... coming from someone who's been in a "few" ;)
